Our experienced Funeral Directors provide guidance on the crucial first steps toward healing.
General Manager/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
A Hospice Volunteer since 2005, Julie was referred by Hospice Friends to her local funeral home as a great fit for an open position they had. This began her career in the funeral industry in 2007 in Ellensburg WA. She worked her way from doing deliveries up to Location Manager over the years.
Julie graduated from Ellensburg High school and completed the Funeral Directing/ Embalming program at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2010. She is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Washington, Texas and Arizona. As well as a Cremation Specialist.
In 2018 she joined Foundation Partners Group in Yakima WA. as a Funeral Director/ Embalmer As well as the Location Leader. In 2019 Julie relocated to Tucson, AZ and became the Location Leader of Angel Valley Funeral Home.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys riding her Harley Davidson, 4-wheeling in her jeep, and spending time with her two daughters and 7 grandchildren. She also enjoys being involved in the community and attends many fundraisers throughout the year.
Lead Funeral Director/Licensed Cremationist
Jackie was raised in north central Nebraska, where she graduated high school and then stepped into a job shadowing position with a local funeral home. It was here, she found her passion for serving families at their most difficult times. She then relocated to south central Kansas and began her 17- year funeral career. Graduating with her Associate of Mortuary Arts Degree from Arapahoe Community College, she furthered her education by graduating from Friends University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and Leadership. After, taking a few years to raise her family and further her career, Jackie returned to school to work on her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. In the beginning of 2019, Jackie and her family relocated to Tucson, Arizona to be closer to family. She is proud to call Tucson her home!
In her spare time, she enjoys the beautiful desert sunsets, the majestic Mt. Lemmon and the diversity that Tucson has to offer. She also enjoys spending time with her family, her two great Danes, Finnick and Baine, and her chihuahua, Peanut.
Jackie is excited to be a member of the Angel Valley Funeral Home team and looks forward to providing excellent service to the Tucson community.
Brandon is originally from Chandler, Arizona and moved to Tucson to study at the University of Arizona, majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Special Education and Rehabilitation. While he has not yet settled on a career, he ultimately wants to be involved in meaningful work that builds people up and helps them grow. Brandon holds an eclectic mix of interests and enjoys trying new things and making new connections. He entered the funeral industry through happenstance but has found the work to be both engaging and incredibly rewarding. His primary responsibilities are cremation and transportation, but he is also active in supporting his colleagues with whatever they may require while assisting families.
Family Service Advisor
Joshua was born and raised in Silver City, New Mexico, where his father is an instructor and his mother is a funeral director. In 2014, Joshua relocated to Tucson, Arizona to further his own career in the funeral industry with Angel Valley Funeral Home. Joshua is dedicated to promoting memorable and personable services to the families he serves.
When Joshua is out of the office, he enjoys the outdoors, with hiking the beautiful mountains surrounding Tucson, listening to music, playing several music instruments and spending time with his friends. Joshua loves being part of a team that is truly dedicated.
Family Service Advisor
Linda was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri. She moved to Green Valley, Arizona in the spring of 2019. Linda began her career in the funeral service industry when she accepted a position as a Preneed Sales Agent and Cemetery Representative in 2011. From there she felt she could help even more people, so she became a Funeral Director and Certified Funeral Celebrant. In 2019 she joined the Angel Valley Funeral Home team in Tucson, Arizona.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, travel, creating mosaic art and spending time with her Daughter, Son-in-Law and three Grandchildren.
Elise was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is one of five children with four brothers. Elise has experience in almost all aspects of the mortuary and funeral homes for over eight years.
She has a strong passion in helping families and their loved ones during the hardest time in their lives.
In her free time, Elise spends time with her 11 year old son and they enjoy traveling, going to the gym together, theme parks, movies and eating.
Elise believes life is one huge memory that should be cherished and shared most importantly with loved ones.
Jennifer was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is a happily married mother of three children. Spontaneous family adventures are her favorite part of life, but she also enjoys family outings, movies, hiking, traveling, and road trips.
Jennifer is in charge of bookkeeping for Angel Valley Funeral Home. Her responsibilities include handling accounts receivables, accounts payable and keeping the administration processes efficient. With over four years in the funeral service industry, Jennifer has been able to develop her strength and knowledge of funeral service and better able to serve the families of Angel Valley Funeral Home.
Jennifer joined Angel Valley Funeral Home in 2016. She is honored to be a member of the team. Jennifer feels that “it’s been an absolute pleasure working with and serving family”
Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer Intern
Marcelle is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer Intern who earned her AAS in Funeral Service from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2014. She hopes to continue her education to obtain a BS of Mortuary Science. She was raised in Seattle graduating from Garfield High School but has lived in the Los Angeles area, Eugene, OR, and Spokane, WA. Marcelle has recently moved to Tucson, AZ with her two daughters, one is a Five-year-old the other is a teenager. She absolutely loves road trips and the excitement of what might be around the next corner. Hearing families tell her that her service to them in their time of need really made a difference warms her heart and brings her great pride. She looks forward to many rewarding years in her career as a funeral director helping in the Tucson community.
