John Thomas Harrison Jr.

John T. Harrison Jr. passed away on November 6, 2021 after a month long fight with Covid 19 and complications due to Covid 19.  He passed away quietly and peacefully, surrounded with love and family in the early hours of morning.

  John was born in Michigan with his parents Elsie and John Sr. and his two sisters, Bobby and Vickie. He lived in several states before finally retiring and settling down in Tucson, Arizona.

  John was a father, a member of the Restored Church of God, a navy veteran and an electrical engineer. He donated a lot of time to helping feral and homeless cats get fixed and released here in Tucson through the Humane Society. He loved fishing, camping and spending time with his granddaughters Lelu and Dodi. 

  John was a member of the American Legion. He was a proud veteran service member and was devoted to that community and the wounded warrior foundation.

  John is survived by his sister Vickie, his daughters Shannon, Linette, Cassie and Kyla, grandchildren, niece Tracy and nephews Scott and Derek.

  John's funeral service is on Monday, December 6th at the Marana Veterans cemetary at noon.
