Harry A Schmitt PhD of Tucson, AZ passed away on February 28, 2023 at home. He is survived by brothers Michael Schmitt of Columbus OH and Ray Schmitt of Richmond VA, sisters Judy Welch of Ponte Vedra Beach FL, Margaret Schmitt and Sally Schmitt of Pittsburgh PA. He is also survived by 2 nieces, a nephew and 2 grand nieces. Harry earned his Bachelor’s degree from University of Denver and his PhD in theoretical physics from University of Arizona.
