Steven Castleberry

Obituary of Steven Castleberry

Steven Clark Castleberry was born to Jack and Myrtle in Yuma, Arizona. He was a loving son and brother to his sister, Debbie, a nurturing father and a dedicated husband to Martha. Every moment of his life was focused on and devoted to those that he cared about. Steve was loyal beyond belief and eternally faithful; forever focused on what he could do in the moment to bring joy to others. Empathetic and kind his heart was devoted to his family - from the moment he entered life until the moment he left. Steve's objective was ensuring his wife Martha's happiness and well being; his love unconditional and unwavering. Steve demonstrated this through an unmatched work ethic. Throughout his life he always wanted to do his part and bring home his contribution to the family. You may have crossed paths with Steve in town, perhaps in a local breakfast diner or at the animal shelter. If you did, you would not forget the experience nor the man. Steve was friendly and outgoing, and loved to find a jest that would bring a smile or laugh to even the most calloused individual. He was an expert at getting others to believe the most outlandish of fallacies, expanding on the story until it was no longer believable. Steve's legacy will forever be carried on by his three children, David, Susanna and Paul whom he taught how to respect, love and cherish everything; from a moment to a loved one. With Steve being an avid dog lover we ask that in lieu of flowers please donate to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona or to St Vincent de Paul at St Frances Cabrini Parish in Tucson.
