Life Legacy Jill Suzanne Bond, 53, was called to heaven after a courageous battle with ALS, on December 4, 2018, at her home in Tucson, in the loving arms of her family. Preceded by son, Jason Phanco & brother Bill; Survived by husband, Mitch; parents, Jim and Jan Roodman; children, Jamie, Kaesyn, Ziah, Jasovn, Eric, Adrianne (Chris) Gutierrez, Wyatt (Laura) Bond; sister Holly and Jill's grandchildren, Dominic, Druw, Eric, Liliana, Mason, Abbie, Radley, Soie, Macauley; nieces, Meagan and Julie, and her beloved family and friends. Jill was born in Panorama City, CA. She and Mitch were married on May 28, 2004 in Pima County. They blended their families and made many sweet memories together. Jill had a big heart and loved unconditionally. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Jill had an impact on everyone she met, she was the kind of educator that cared beyond measure and truly made a difference. Her education achievements: Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education/Liberal Arts, Master of Arts in Middle School Mathematics Teaching and Leadership, National Board Certified in Early Adolescent Mathematics; selected as Most Inspirational Middle School Teacher by Allison Castillo in 2010 and Valencia Middle School’s Campus teacher of the year 2014-2015? A visitation will take place on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Angel Valley Funeral Home, 2545 N Tucson Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716 Memorial Service to be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Angel Valley Funeral Home, 2545 N Tucson Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716 Interment following at Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705 Reception to follow at the Bond residence, 1630 N. Saddleback Lane, Tucson, AZ 85745 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tucson Chapter of the ALS Foundation.
