Obituary of Nancy Churches

Nancy Ann Lamm (Mercer) Churches, 77 passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. She was born July 11, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio to Russell Lamm and Hazel Stracke who preceded her in death. Nancy relocated to Tucson in 1971 where she lived her passion for life and enjoyed the beauty of the Arizona desert. She is survived by 3 children; Robert Mercer (Tucson), Steve (Sharon) Mercer (Coshocton), Christine (Juan) Mendivil (Tucson), 5 grandchildren; Michael Mercer (Tucson), Leah Mercer (Brad) Knapp (Cleveland, OH), Vanessa Mercer (David) Robinson (Lisburn N. Ireland), Rick (Staci) Foerster (Tucson), Bryan Foerster (Tucson). A brother, Russell (Jan) Lamm (Columbus, OH.) 3 great-grandchildren and 3 nieces also survive. Following her cremation a memorial service will be held by the family on July 14, 2010 at a desert location where her ashes will be spread along with those of her longtime companion Pug, Peaches.
