Obituary of Robert Betts

Robert D. Betts was born on September 15, 1922 in Silver City New Mexico to Jesse and Nell Betts. He has been a long time Tucson resident since 1961. He married Sydney Coker on December 27, 1945 in Silver City, New Mexico. He served in the Army Air Corp during WW II in the European Theater 1942-1945. He was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and was a loving and cherished father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. His beloved wife Sydney was born on November 2, 1925 and passed away on November 16, 2009. He passed away on July 31, 2010 in Tucson. He is survived by his children Robby and his wife, Linda; Lanny and his wife, Christine; Kevin and his wife, Melode; Becky Greer and her husband, Larry; grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 11. He is also survived by two sisters Evelyn and Polly (Paul) and many relatives and friends.
