Marty was my GodFather. He held me at my baptism in the late 1940's... which is why my parents ( Frank & Christine Casanova ) gave me my middle name... Martin.

I'll always remember Marty for his KofC leadership, kindness and respect for all. He could talk me into helping on any KofC activity. It was a privilege to know him.Truly a well loved and unique individual whose heavenly abode has been reserved for some time.

I graduated from the College of Pharmacy in 1965 and continued at the college till my retirement in 2016. As Curator of the History of Pharmacy Museum, the highlight of every year was to spend some time with Marty talking or doing something about the History of Pharmacy and the College. He always made me feel so excited about the Museum and the history. He brought together his classmates from that first graduating class for many events, highlighted by their 50th reunion celebration.
He was truly special.
My sincere condolences to Barbara and all the family.
