Obituary of Linda Carol Haven

Linda Haven, age 70, passed away peacefully at Casa de la Luz Hospice on August 13, 2019.
She was born October 10, 1948, in San Bernardino, California to Jane Ballance and Gordon Lamar and later adopted by Alfred Ballance. She graduated from Wheelus High School, Tripoli Libya in 1966, where she was an accomplished baton twirler.
Linda is survived by her daughter Tonya Dreilinger, granddaughter, Tonisha Dreilinger and siblings Billy Ballance, Steve Ballance (Kim), Pam Miller (Bill), Becky Hardy (Rand), Gayl Zambo (Frank), Richard (Delana) and Bill Burris (Debbie).
Linda worked as a bartender in many local Tucson bars such as Manhattan, Office, Pub, Swizzle Stick, Blue Lantern, and Rooster as well as Lucky Strike & Santa Cruz Bowling Alleys. She became known for her outstanding Bloody Mary’s.
Linda enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with friends. She had an infectious laugh and loved to joke around with everyone. Linda will be truly missed by so many that loved her.
Friends & family are invited to join in a celebration of her life at the American Legion at 4724 S. 12th Avenue, Tucson, Arizona 85714 on Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 pm.
