Obituary of David Russell Freyling

On Wednesday, August 14, 2019, David Russell Freyling, passed away at the age of 57. 

 

David was born June 19, 1962. He was a loving father to his two daughters Jordanna, Koressa and grandfather to his 4 grandchildren, Ella, Lilah, Mack, and Elijah. As well as a best friend and lifelong rock and roll buddy to Scott Doonan. 

 

He had a passion for writing, drinking tea, building jeeps, warm weather and rock and roll. He played guitar and keyboard since he was 10 years old, but also played other instruments and wrote many songs/poetry. Some of his favorite bands were AC/DC, Def Leppard, and Van Halen. 

 

He was known for his infectious smile, contagious laugh, quirky sense of humor and his kind and compassionate spirit. 

 

David’s last wishes did not include a celebration of life service, but if you’d like to contribute, please donate to the Cancer Research Institute.
