Obituary of Samuel Gonzalez Cordova Jr.

On November 11, 2019, Samuel Gonzales Cordova Jr. Tragically left his loving family to join his beloved family in heaven.

Samito energetically loved life. His ultimate joy was helping others. He courageously helped in search and rescues, especially during the flood in Blue River in 2013, to which he assisted his Grandpa MC Holliday in the rescue of a life taken by the flood.

His daily phone calls to loved ones especially his momma, to which he just would call to simply say “What’s up Momma, I love you”, will be deeply missed along with the sounds of the bass from his beloved Dodge Ram that would echo down the street as he was coming by to visit.

There are no words to express the deep loss we are feeling. The only comfort we find is knowing that Samito would never want us to be crying, but to remember the good times shared with him. We will always treasure the sound of his laugh, the image of his great big smile with that silly toothpick on the side of his mouth, and his famous words “Damn It!!!” Samito will be deeply missed and we know that he is with our beloved angels awaiting to join us and welcome us home in Gods time. May god be with us all.

Samito is proceeded in death by his father Samuel G Cordova Sr, tata Manuel R. Cordova, nephew Drayden Freyer, and Cousin MC Holliday. Samito is survived by his mother Cherin A. Cordova, siblings David Cordova, Bianca Cordova, Joshua Cordova (Karina), and Izec Cordova. His children Sway Marie Cordova, Samuel Gonzales Cordova III, and Tristan Cordova. Loving Grandparents MC Holliday, Sherryn Marshall, Olvia Cordova (Manuel), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
