Obituary of Gloria M Monka

Gloria Marie (Trimarco) Monka passed from this life on February 16,2020. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Always putting others before herself, she lived as Jesus did. Gloria had a strong Catholic faith and belief in the Blessed Mother. She supported her husband, William (predeceased) as a choir member and Knights of Columbus at Saints Peter and Paul Parish. Together they hosted many prayer and study groups in their home. These activities gave her much joy. Gloria also enjoyed her knitting and cross stitching in her spare time. Dancing, cooking Italian dinners, reading and attending U of A Football games were among her favorites!

Gloria leaves behind her daughters, Anne Veronica Hutson (Robert) and Mary Jo (Byron) Batey; Joseph and Byron (Carolyn) along with 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind sister-in-law Beatrice Trimarco and her family Richard, Patrick, Degna, Laura and Elise (predeceased).
