Obituary of Porter Dunaway

Porter Jean Dunaway, born on November 27, 1943 in Savannah, GA, passed away on February 22, 2020 in Tucson, AZ. She is predeceased by her parents Henry Marshall and Frances Elizabeth Morrison Dunaway. 

Survivors are her sisters, Henri Dunaway Graves of Clayton, GA and Frances D. Mills of Savannah, GA; niece Aimee L. Graves and husband Michael R. Harris of Tucson, AZ;, nephews Stephen R. Graves, Jr. of Warner Robbins,  GA, Robert Mills (Mary) of Auburn, AL, Leighton Mills (Helen) of Savannah, Jon Mills, Athens, GA, and Andrew Mills (Katy) of Carrollton, GA; ten nieces and nephews;  and special friend Janet Parks of Atka, Alaska. She is also survived by her devoted dog, Kiki. 

Porter was an avid reader and collector, and was an accomplished artist and entrepreneur. She traveled at every opportunity and was a great lover of animals. 

 She resided for many years in Santa Fe, NM and in Bernalillo, NM. 

The family will have a memorial service in Bluffton, SC, where she spent many summers.
