Obituary of Sylvia Espino Aguilar

Surrounded by her loved ones, Sylvia Espino Aguilar, our beloved Wife, Mother, and Nana passed away peacefully into our Lord's loving arms on July 18, 2020. Born to Santos and Gilberto Espino on June 16, 1935. She leaves behind her husband of 63 years Gerardo; children, Elma Damon (Steve), Elda, Jerry (Geraldine), Victor (Lisa); grandchildren, Steven Paul, Renee (Matt) Alex (Jessica), Niko, Marc, Danielle (Shane), Alyssa, Lauren, and Victor Jr.; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ava, and Olivia. Sylvia, a 4th generation Tucsonan, lost her mother at an early age and was blessed to be raised by her two loving aunts Delfina Salazar and Lolita Aguirre, and cousins, whom she considered her brothers and sisters. She was a proud graduate of Tucson High, beginning a legacy for her children and grandchildren to follow. Sylvia was loved by many for her sense of humor, generosity, faith, and devotion to God. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Mom, your beautiful, infectious smile will stay in our hearts forever. 

Due to the pandemic our mother's funeral will be private, but we look forward to a celebration of her life in 2021.
