John and Carole moved their family from Chicago to Tucson in 1968.

John was a carpenter from the time he was 16 years old, becoming a master who taught many.  Besides his loving and large family, his pride of workmanship and joy shows in the homes he designed and built, from the ground up in Vail, Arizona.

John had many hobbies that he loved to share with family and friends, especially his restoration and admiration of old cars, and collection and display of model trains. He worked on his train display almost daily, bringing joy to admirers young and old.

John spent his life loving, teasing and caring for others, always selfless, smiling, and ready to lend a helping hand. He set a wonderful example, and will be greatly missed.

We will have a celebration of John's life when it is safe to gather.
