Obituary of Freddie Rivera Marquez

Freddie Riverva Marquez

9-13-53 to 4-02-21

Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife Celine, four children: Joseph, Gabriel, Kassandra and Nicole. Three grandchildren: Aaliyah, Zoey and Xander. As well as his two brothers, Arturo and Robert and two sisters Sylvia and Christina.

Fred was a family man who spent his years raising his children, being the best dad he could be. He was the dad who made trips to the library, encouraged reading and sports. He was the dad his kids ran to with joy when he got home from work.

Not only were his kids important to him, he was also a very dedicated husband to his wife of thirty-five years, together they created a beautiful story.

Fred was born and raised in Tucson and had a long list of friends and aquaintances. They would all agree to his kind and friendly nature. His ability to strike up a conversation was so welcoming that he made friends with just about anyone. His welcoming heart was so genuine and a true rarity. Some of Fred's past times included, watching sports,(anything UofA) golfing, watching his grandchildren play sports and having cook outs with family. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of being surrounded by friends and family with a good meal. Fred lived a quality life that was filled with love, laughter, family vacations, strong relationships and so many good memories. To have known Fred was to know a kind, generous and hard working man. There are no words sufficient enough to express how much he will be missed. Forever in our hearts.
