Obituary of Linda Louise Willert

Tucson resident Linda L. Willert- suddenly and unexpectedly – passed away while she slept at her home Monday, June 7, 2021

Linda was born on July 27, 1954 – in Fitchburg, Massachusetts – to Elsie Ball and Wilfred Jolly. In 1963, Linda moved with her family to Phoenix, Arizona, and later, she took up residence in the city of Tucson. After graduation from Amphi High School, Linda set out to a raise a family. Linda could do anything she set her mind to do. As an avid animal lover, gardener and canner, Linda shared her love of nature with those close to her – providing bushels of fruits and vegetables to her neighbors, friends, and family during every Harvest season. After retiring from Cummings plumbing, Linda choose to share her bountiful love with numerous ‘special needs’ children within the Arizona Foster Care System – providing much needed care and guidance to those among us who needed it most.

Elsie Ball (mother), Wilfred Jolly (father), Orlando LeBlanc (stepfather), and Susan LeBlanc (sister) preceded Linda in death. She is survived by Edward Willert (husband), Heather Overholtz (daughter), Chris Willert (son), James Deursch (son) and wonderful family and in-laws- Tracy Willert, Cherie (Brian) Stowell, Autumn (Jon) McDonald (and son Liam), Michelle Copen (and daughter Kinsley & Braelynn).

A celebration of Life will be held at later still yet to be determined.
