Obituary of Autumn Lynn Engle

Autumn Lynn Engle

On July 16, 2021 at 1:27am, our girl passed away in Mama's arms. Even as the sun sets here on earth, a new, bigger, brighter star shines in Heaven.

Autumn Lynn Engle (50 yrs old) was born on 2 December 1970 to Thomas & Wanda Engle (Brown) at TMC Hospital in Tucson, Az. We knew from that day that she was a very special baby, destined to become an amazing woman. To know Audie was to love her.

Autumn was greeted in Heaven by her Dad. She was preceded by her grandparents Pearl & Roberta Engle of Ohio and Jesse Brown of Texas, along with her good friends Matt, Margie & Alan. We know they are having the best reunion up there!

Autumn is survived by her Mom, Wanda, sisters, Debbie (Terry) Faulkenbery of Queen Creek Az, Mariah Bott of Tucson Az, brother Rodney (Helen) Miles of Dunedin Fl, nephews, Chad (Cassi) Miles of Holiday Fl, Kevin Faulkenbery of Queen Creek Az, Austin Bott ( Cass) of Tucson Az, niece Codi Bott of Austin Tx, uncle David (Jeanne) Engle of Tucson Az and her very best friend and partner in crime Bethany (Andrew) Stocker of Tucson Az.

After graduating Marana High School, Autumn worked at Beacon Foundation for many years. Throughout her life, Autumn was involved in many clubs and activities, including 4-H, FFA, Girl Scouts and Special Olympics (50m dash, softball toss, basketball skills & bowling) just to name a few, where she won 100's of medals, ribbons and trophies! She loved doing crafts and spending time with her friends, going to dances and just going for an adventure in the car with her Mom and Dad. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary along with her Mom and made many friends there, including her wonderful friend Kay. One of Autumn's very favorite things was to go hunting for painted rocks with Mom. Together they have amassed quite a collection and Autumn could tell you about them all. We will be hiding them again in her memory.

Autumn has faced many challenges in her life and always did so with spunk and determination. After her father passed 3 years ago, her health began to decline and she required a lot of care and love which she received from Mom in spades. Her health challenges were tough but they brought with them the blessing of Nurse Jenn. She helped to make Autumn as happy and comfortable as possible and Autumn loved her Xena Nurse Princess! Though her health failed, her spirit never did and she tried her best to stay with us as long as possible, giving her time to reconnect with her sisters and see friends and family that she loved. These are days we will always be thankful for. She touched many lives with her smile over the years. She will be deeply missed by all that have been blessed to know her.

A celebration of life will be held on September 18, 2021 at her Mom's home and she will be interred with her father at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana, Az at a later date.
