Obituary of Hubert Ignacio Medina

MEDINA, Hubert Ignacio Jr., 59, of Tucson, AZ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 06, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 02, 1962 in Morenci, AZ to Hubert and Bertha Medina.

Junior, JJ, or "Yay Yay" as he was affectionately known, was one of the funniest and entertaining people who will be remembered for his quick and sometimes sarcastic wit and remarkable sense of humor.  He made friends easily and he cared deeply for those he loved.

He is survived by his two children, Brian Medina, Erica (Daniel) Lopez, 5 grandsons and one granddaughter, his mother, Bertha Medina, siblings; Jenny Medina, Steven (Gay) Medina, Mary Helen Whisiker and Anna Medina. He is also survived by his uncle Ignacio (Ida) Medina. He was especially fond of all his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert O. Medina and brother, David Medina.

At his request there will be no services.

Tomorrow is never promised so today hold the ones you love a little tighter.  He will be greatly missed.
