Obituary of Rosa Pinedo

Rosa Pinedo, “Aunt Rhody” passed away on October 26, 2021 at the age of 96 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on October 25, 1925 to Serapio and Dolores Pinedo in Pirtleville, Arizona. She had three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two of her sisters, Angelina Foley, El Paso, Texas, and Carmen Gurnik, Tucson, Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosa graduated from Douglas High School in 1946. She attended St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Phoenix, Arizona where she became a Registered Nurse. Shortly thereafter, she received further training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana where she became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. She worked at several hospitals in Arizona and Texas. She was an avid bowler and traveled all over the United States participating in bowling tournaments.

 Burial to follow immediate after the mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pirtleville, Arizona.
