From Bill and Pauline Beckett.
All our love to Pat, the three beautiful Kirby girls and their families. My sister Carrie will be missed so much. She put a roof over my head when I first went to America back in 1963 for which I will always be grateful. Her kindness, energy, hard working and fun loving personality will always be remembered. We have such great memories of the visits to Arizona and the generous hospitality of Pat and Carrie. Their visits to Ireland were also great fun, with so many laughs. May she rest in peace.Keep in touch Pat and girls.
All our love, Bill and Pauline. xxx

From Sarah, Conall & Girls.
We are so very sorry that dear Auntie Carrie passed away. As I told Mary already- my memories of Aunty Carrie are of her being full of life, get up and go, the Rock of the family, organising everyone, never sitting down. When she stayed at Carrarea, she was first up in her dressing gown every morning, setting the breakfast table for Pat, having everything tip top for everyone. She was so proud of her girls, their hubbies and the grandchildren, I loved hearing all the stories of what they were doing etc.She spoke of all of them with such pride. I looked forward to the Kirby visits to Ireland. It brought all the Irish cousins together and we had great chats and laughter in many a kitchen in Kilconnell, great dinners out with loads of laughter and the "crack"- that's good old fashioned fun in Ireland! My thoughts are with Uncle Pat, the three girls and families, keep in touch. All my love Sarah and family. xx

To the Kirby Family:
We are saddened by the loss of your mother, wife, and grandmother. Carrie was a lovely lady who made us always feel welcome in her presence. She had a wonderful sense of humor and she was devoted to her husband, daughters, their husbands, and her grandchildren. I know she will be greatly missed but now there is a beautiful Irish angel keeping an eye on all.
With love,
Blair, Shela, Justin Little and Gloria Doud

Carrie was a much loved member of the Kirby Family. I knew Carrie through Pat's nephew Donal. I'm Donals wife and every time Carrie and Pat visited Ireland they would always end up in the kitchen of Pats brother Danny and his lovely wife Anne who was also a native of Galway. Carrie was the true definition of a lady with her quiet grace and elegance. I was lucky to be spoilt by Pat and Carrie and all the Arizona branch of the family when Donal and I visited Tuscon with our children Cal and Ben in 2018. I remember sitting with Carrie and her daughters looking through old photos., A particular photo of Carrie In her wedding dress reminded me of a 50s film starlet. She was always gorgeous and generous as is the family . Her gentle humour and loving presence will be greatly missed. We are all sending our love from Corofin County Clare to Pat,Carrie's Family, all her daughters and their husbands and to the Grandchildren too. We are thinking of you all tonight xxxx
