Obituary of Deborah Sue Provencio

Deborah "Debbie" Sue Provencio (age 61), peacefully passed away at TMC Hospital on January 25,

2022, after a long battle with brain and lung cancer, and from complications of Covid-19. She was born

on February 7th 1960 in Tucson, Arizona. She is survived by her parents, Paul and Frances Bohardt;

loving husband Steve Provencio (Brothers-Russ (Lupe) Provencio, John (Sylvia) Provencio, Doug

Provencio and Sisters-Terri Provencio, Eloise (Hector) Lopez, Dorina (Richard) Aguilera, Rose

Provencio and Yolanda Provencio.); daughters Nikki Hampton and Rita Provencio; brother Paul (Cara)

Bohardt; nephew P.J. Bohardt and niece Patrisha Bohardt; and grandchildren Viviana Hernandez, and

Alexandra and Kyren Moran.

Debbie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a simplistic woman,

full of great courage yet great gentleness. Morals and traditions were important to her, and she believed

in her family. She never imposed upon anyone, and didn't ask for help unless absolutely necessary.

Debbie always kept her head up, even in some of life's hardest times. She did this with positivity and a

constant belief that you WOULD get through the hard moments, as long as you had family to carry you

through.

Debbie found her life's purpose caring for the elderly and made it a point to see that they were treated

with dignity and respect. As the manager of a Care Home, Debbie had a natural ability to be even

keeled and steady, and knew what to do in an emergency or in a difficult situation. Her calmness and

logic was an invaluable trait in her career.

Debbie was happiest when she had quiet moments to herself, and also enjoyed time spent outdoors-

especially at Roosevelt Lake, where she liked to camp and go fishing. Her favorite things in life were

the simplest things-a pretty sunset, a good song on the radio, her daily bowl (or two!) of ice cream, her

dog, Pepper and the laughter she shared with her family.

Debbie is welcomed home by her grandparents, Virgil and Wanda Adams, and son, Stevie Provencio,

Debbie will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
