Carole grew up in Chicago, as the oldest of seven children. She met her forever love at age 17 and later gave birth to six children of her own. John and Carole moved their family from Chicago to Tucson in 1968. She was a supportive and giving wife, and an exemplary Mom, providing unparalleled and unconditional love to each child as if they were the most important person in the world. She was an amazing cook, a patient mediator, a fun and inspirational grandmother and always her family’s biggest cheerleader.

Carole enjoyed intellectual hobbies such as reading, scrabble, learning new technology, staying up-to-date on latest medical trends, politics and both local and national news. But above all, Carole loved people.

Carole has always had a large and loving family to which she generously gave her time, and attention. Carole was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born with a giving spirit and used this blessing to take care of others and inspire everyone around her to be a better person. She offered grace and compassion. She always had enough to feed anyone who was hungry. She found something to like in every person she met.

Carole spent her life loving, encouraging and caring for others, always selfless, smiling, and ready to lend a helping hand. She set a wonderful example for her descendants to follow and will be greatly missed. The world is a better place for her having been here and her legacy will live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private burial will be held on Friday, February 18th.  We will have a celebration of Carole’s life on May 21st, that all are welcome to attend.
