Obituary of Delbert Henry

Delbert Ray Henry entered this life on September 17, 1952, in Tucson, Arizona and departed on September 1, 2022. Delbert was the son of the late Calvin Henry, Sr., and Mamie L. Henry. He was preceded in death by his brothers, W.D. Spearman, Floyd Henry, and William Henry Sr.

Delbert graduated from Howenstein High School in 1971. He worked in various capacities in culinary and custodian of groundskeeper.  Delbert loved his family, cooking, and playing his guitar to the tune of “it’s a wonderful world”.

Delbert leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Jessie (Marcello) Cobbs, Crockett, Texas and Althea Agboola of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Calvin Jr. (Cynthia), Harold, and David of Tucson, Arizona.  A host of relatives, friends and a longtime companion, Quenna McCraney.
