Obituary of Francisco Saucedo Medina

FANCISCO (PANCHO) MEDINA

On September, 25th 2022, at dawn, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson, our dear Frank Medina took his last breath. Pancho was a railway refrigeration technician prior to his retirement. 

Throughout his life he joined the struggle for the rights of workers, including the oppressed migrant workers. He was also an actor, theater director and political artist. His house became a living museum of his artwork and his activism. 

Pancho had two daughters (Tina and Primavera) and 10 grandchildren. His daughter Primavera and her five children were with him at his bedside when he passed.

The life of our Panchito Medina did not end on that day. His memory joins that of those who lived to give relief to the oppressed, to build a world of justice and peace, "De Colores," music, human rights
and true love. Panchito, presente now and always.
