Obituary of Deborah Renee McCants

Deborah Renee McCants, 57, passed away on November 12, 2022. She was born to Mary and James Dunlap in Chicago, IL. Deb, as she was affectionately known, later moved to Tucson, AZ to be with her daughter. 

Deb was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness. She was baptized on October 23, 1993. Though she faced health issues toward the end of her life, she never missed attending a meeting and joined in field service on zoom when she could. She had a deep love for serving Jehovah and helping others to learn about Jehovah as well. She loved all of her brothers and sisters in faith as well.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Dunlap, father, James Dunlap, and brother Donald Dunlap. She is survived by her husband, Glenn McCants Sr, daughter Ebony Dunlap, brothers Rasheed Shabazz and Mustapha Shabazz, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 26th on zoom.

Revelation 21:4. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
