Obituary of Mary Christina Mouzourakis

Mary Christina Mouzourakis passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 after a brief illness with melanoma cancer. Mary was born on August 24, 1982 to Theodoros and Donna (Ciaglo) Mouzourakis in Detroit, Michigan. Mary was a twin and although she loved all of her siblings she had a special bond with her twin brother, Emmanuel. Mary grew up in Romeo, Michigan and after graduating high school became a licensed cosmetologist. After moving out of Michigan, Mary lived for a short time in San Pedro, California and then moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2021. Mary lived with her mother during her battle with cancer. Mary was very inquisitive at a young age with anything that had to do with insects and nature. She was a beautiful writer and had lovely penmanship that was envied by those closest to her. 

Mary is survived by her mother, Donna Mouzourakis, sister Erasmia (Brad) Miller, brother Emmanuel (Grecia) Mouzourakis, sister Joanna (Mike) Dakroub, and brother Anthony Mouzourakis. Mary is also survived by all of her nieces, nephews, cousins and family whom she loved so very much. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Theodoros Mouzourakis.

The family of Mary Mouzourakis would like to give our genuine appreciation to the entire ICU Staff at Banner South for their kindness during this time.
