Obituary of Keith Dwight Taylor Jr.

Keith Dwight Taylor Jr. Was born 09/24/1932 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ.

He grew up in Phoenix, attended New Mexico Military Academy for High School and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1954. His wife Brenda Chasteene Taylor of forty-three years survives him. He was married to Jane Agee and has two daughters, both of which survive him. Jane died in January 2023.

Jayne Habros (Mike) and Katherine Mundinger (Richard). He has six grandchildren Sean Coulbourne (Jen), James Coulbourne (Yvette), Maggie Mejia (Gustavo), Kate Habros (Phil), Clay Mundinger and Erica Mundinger. He has six great-grandchildren: Christian, Emmit, and Michael Coulbourne, Lucy Habros Wesneski, Tristan and Trent Jaldin. Two stepchildren from his marriage to Barbara Ball (deceased). Jamie Houskeeper (Robert) and Tom Henson (Lori).

Keith was a farmer after graduating from the University of Arizona School of Agriculture (Now known as CALS). He grew cotton, hay, and alfalfa in the Chandler area. He got his Arizona Broker’s license in 1960 and in 1974 graduated from the University of San Diego (USD School of Law) passing the California State Bar Exam the first time to become a member of the California Bar Association. He was also a member of the Utah Bar Association. He went to Law School to augment his Real Estate Career.

He loved traveling to Ireland, Mexico, Peru, and the United States. He enjoyed living in the desert. He spent 20 years as a Director at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, AZ. He also supported the UofA Arboretum and UofA Athletics. He believed strongly in “Giving Back” and would encourage donations to any of the above three named organizations.

No funeral is planned, however there will be a Celebration of Life in September 2023.
