Obituary of Bonnie Jean Apalategui

Bonnie Jean Apalategui (Polanco) entered into Heaven April 7, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 67. She was born on August 17, 1956, in Safford, AZ, and raised in Tucson, Az. Bonnie and her family have lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ since 1990. Bonnie dedicated over 30 years of her life as a Para-Professional in the field of Special Education with Lake Havasu Unified School District in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. 

Bonnie was a loving and devoted wife to Ray Sr. for nearly 50 years. She was a cherished mother to Ray Jr., Christina, and Camille (Jesse), and a beloved grandmother to Selina, Ricky, Thomas, Kassadie, Brody, Diego, and Max, and a great-grandmother to Parker. She is survived by her sisters Lisa and Wendy, and brother Tim. Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother Brigida Polanco, father Rosendo Polanco, and brother Marty Polanco.

Bonnie was known for her boundless love and strength, always putting her family and friends first. While she held Tucson dear to her heart, she found joy in her life in Lake Havasu City. She touched the hearts of so many, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 

 

Bonnie's kindness, and her selfless nature will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
