Obituary of Miguel Gargoles Gegantoca

Miguel Gegantoca, Jr., age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 29, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born February 19, 1935 in Guimbal, Iloilo, Philippines. He married Nora Santos and had four children: Michael, Mark, Noreen and Nonette. He started his career with Dole plantation in the Philippines as Radio Operator. Miguel and Nora moved to the United States in 1984 and their children joined them in 1986. After retiring as an electronics technician at J & M Corporation in Tucson, he ran his own laundromat business until he retired for the second time in summer of 2013. He was the family handyman and enjoyed fixing small electronics and mechanical gadgets on his free time. He was patriotic and a proud Navy & Army Dad and recently a proud Air National Guard grandpa. Miguel was very dedicated to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him and by those whose lives he had touched. He is survived by his remaining children Mark, Noreen and Nonette. Due to the pandemic, a memorial service with family only will be held at Saints Peter and Paul on April 5.
