Obituary of Robert Logan

Robert Kenneth Logan, Jr. was born September 10, 1937 to Robert Kenneth and A. Margaret Logan in Marlborough, MA. Raised in Marlborough, after High School, enlisted in the USAF and spent three year's stationed at Davis Monthan and one year in Thule, Greenland. Bob met June Drake in Tucson and they were married in 1959. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Degree in Public Administration. Bob had an illustrious career that spanned over 50 years, which was based on furthering the causes of environmental conservation and social justice. Bob passed away on September 20, 2013 after a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Bob was always a fighter and never gave up hope. He is survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth Belaska of Marlboro, MA and Margaret Bennett of Stuart, FL and a brother, Richard C. Logan of South Weymouth, MA; his wife of nearly 55 years, June; sons, Robert Kenneth and John Drake Logan; as well as his five grandchildren, Brianna, Kieran, Grace, Veronica and Declan who were ever so precious to him. According to his wishes, the Logan Family would appreciate that no flowers be sent as they will be having a private family service, but will be planning a memorial and remembrance for his many friend's and associates' as well as a fundraiser for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, which will be open to the public.
