Obituary of Barbara Guibor

Barbara Sue Guibor passed away peacefully on January 19, 2014 at TMC’s Peppi’s House hospice unit. She was born October 19, 1930 in Joliet, Illinois. Barbara is survived by her husband George Guibor and sons Bryck (Susan) Guibor, Jeff (Lori) Guibor, Garth Guibor and daughter, Heather (Tim) West. She is also survived by six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Barbara’s early years were dedicated to raising her family and providing a caring and loving household. She was a gourmet cook and loved to entertain and share her meals with friends and family. She enjoyed traveling – especially the times she and George spent each year in Zihuatenejo, Mexico. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her girlfriends – Janie, Pat, Patty and Daisy - on a weekly basis the past several years. The family wishes to thank Dr. Don Brooks, Linda and all the wonderful staff at Arizona Oncology along with the Tucson Medical Center hospice team and Synergy Homecare for helping provide care and comfort for Barbara throughout her illness.
