Obituary of Donald Kennedy

Donald (Don) Kennedy, 74, of Tucson, AZ passed away May 7th, 2014 after his courageous 5 year battle with complications from bladder cancer. He was born in Tucson, AZ on September 20th, 1939 to the late Herbert and Eva Kennedy. Donald was a Locomotive Engineer with Southern Pacific Railroad for over 30 years, and was also a business owner of many businesses throughout the years. He had a passion for the outdoors, nature, boating and animals. He is survived by his wife, Barbara and his six children Michelle, Lonnie, Steven, Mindy, Brandee, and Chad. Also eleven wonderful grandchildren, his only brother, David and his faithful companion dog, Lola. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date by his family and his cremains will be spread on the water in Lake Havasu City, AZ, where he loved to vacation. Don, with the kindest heart, will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him. In lieu of remembrances, if you wish, please donate to the Southern Arizona Humane Society / Tucson AZ.
