Obituary of Chrysanthi Giokaris

Chrysanthi Giokaris, beloved wife, mother, grandmother & sister, passed away June 12, 2014 at the age 86. She was preceded in death by husband Nikolas Giokaris. She is survived by her daughters Jessica & Kathy. She is also survived by grandchildren Sam, Melissa, Chris & many others that were proud to call her yiayia. Chrysanthi was born in Tripoli, Greece in 1928. She immigrated to Tucson in 1967. Her greatest passion was creating a warm & loving home for her family and all the kids she babysat over the years. No one ever went hungry at yiayia’s house. Chrysanthi will be missed dearly in the hearts of all she touched.
