Obituary of Lawrence Schiever

Lawrence "Larry" Schiever 4/2/1928 - 7/19/2014 His survivors are his wife, Shirley and children, Bob (Judy), Laurie Wells, Jean Truitt (Roger) and Chuck Phillips; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Larry was a CPA and a retired member of the Army Reserve. He was a graduate of Tucson High School, class of '45, and an avid member of all the reunion-planning committees. Golf, as a spectator in recent years, and basketball, especially Wildcat basketball, were passions; he would record games he attended and watch them again, at least once. He was a kind, gentle, generous soul who leaves many grieving him. Shirley was the love of his life and he was the best husband ever for nearly 40 years. A Celebration of Larry's life will be on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Schiever home.
