Obituary of Mildred Sinatra

Mildred Rose "Millie" Martorano Sinatra passed in her sleep on July 28th. She had a God-given gift for loving people and making them feel like her own family. Millie was a warm, wonderful woman who will be greatly missed. Her cooking skills were legendary in all cuisines -- not just Italian. Millie loved to cook for family and friends and her generosity was unmatched. She had a great love for the Southwest - especially the Sonoran Desert. Millie enjoyed travel, casinos and reading. Millie grew up in Benson Hurst, Brooklyn, NY as a first generation Sicilian. She had four brothers. Millie is a graduate of Pratt Art Institute and became a medical illustrator for Encyclopedia Britannica in Chicago. In 1986, Millie fell in love and married John Sinatra. She worked in jewelry sales for over twenty years and had many faithful customers. She joins her parents, her sons Sean and Chris, her three brothers, Augie, Pete and Al. She is survived by her devoted, loving husband John, her brother Salvatore Martorano, son Russell Conway, granddaughter Kelly Radtke (husband Andy), and two great grandchildren Braedon and Aubrielle. She was a loving step-mom to Joseph (Susan), Michael (Jacquelyn), Marilyn (Sukhwinder), Paul (Velma), Jeanine, Stephen, Rosanne (Jeff), Antonia (Nels). And mother-in-law to Angie (Garn). She touched many lives and she will forever be missed.
