Samuel Anderson

Obituary of Samuel Anderson

Samuel Anderson, 68, was born in Albuquerque, NM on September 9, 1946 to Samuel and Annie Anderson, both deceased. He is survived by his wife Patty, their five children, Zoe Milkie (Edward), Mia Chavez-Trumbull (Matthew), Justin Starnes (Samantha), Sarah Anderson-Sundin (Christopher), and Lilliana Randall (Sean) as well as Lillian (Lou) Bankson, who he affectionately referred to as “Mother-in-Law.” He was also a proud Papou to 14 grandchildren; Genevieve, Gwendolyn, Charlotte, Carlie, Chloe, Chase, Ever, Eros, Addeline, Sophia, Gage, Mack, Seraphina and Annabelle. He was the proud owner of the automotive repair shop, Sam’s Place, and prided himself on being honest and treating people right. He was an avid fisherman. Besides being with his family, he was happiest with a coke in his hand and a line in the water. Even animals were able to sense his kind soul. Although he never officially agreed to any of the animals he had over the years, he was always their favorite. His quick wit, riddles, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor will be forever missed but his memory will be eternal. There are so many other family members and friends worthy of mention, please know he loved you all tremendously. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of TMC Hospice, with special mention to Amanda and Mary Beth, for their outstanding care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to TMC Hospice in Sam’s honor would be greatly appreciated.
