Obituary of Christiane Migom

62 passed away Tuesday with her loving husband at her side. Chris had fought a 6 year long battle with cancer and was finally tired of the fight. Chris was born in Antwerp Belgium to Franscois Migom and Angelina Oomen and is survived by her husband Fred Huntington of Tucson, daughter Jill Van Vlaenderen, granddaughter Ellen Janssens, son-in-law Philippe Janssens, father Frank Migom and stepmother Claudie Danckers of Belgium. Chris owned a folk art store in the heart of Antwerp and came to the states to tour the southwest and purchase American Indian art for her store. The Indian Art business is how she met her husband of 14 years. Chris was an animal lover, finding homes for abandoned cats as long as she had the strength. Donations can be made to St. Judes or the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
