Obituary of Anthony Mamakos

Anthony E. Mamakos, 90 passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 following a sudden illness. He leaves his beloved wife Mary, wife of 59 years, their children: Christopher (Rosemary), Antonette (Donald), and Tina (Andrew), his 4 grandchildren: Michael, Stephanie, Alexander and Zachary and his brother: Peter Mamakos of Newburyport. Friends will be received from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday January 21, 2016 at the Angel Valley Funeral Home, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd, Tucson AZ with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held 10:00am on Friday January 22, 2016 at the Holy Resurrection Church, 5910 E 5th St. Tucson, AZ. to be followed by the burial in at 1:00 PM in the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sierra Vista. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holy Resurrection Church Icon Fund. May His Memory Be Eternal!
