Obituary of Frank Perez
Frank Serna Perez,
March 25,1939- January 24,2016
Frank S. Perez was a cowboy, a father, a Tata, a union bricklayer, and contractor. He was excellent at all these roles. He fought each day to be the best he could be. His lessons were taught in all his actions.
His philosophy about being a cowboy was going to sleep in your boots, Levi's and hat, it meant waking up at the crack of dawn and getting to work. After the day was done, you had time to rest and get ready for the next day. The cowboy life was not easy, that's why not many could do it.
Frank leaves behind his children whom loved and lived for: Roberta, Frankie (Sandra), Phyllis, Robert, and Geneva. Grandchildren; Carolina Maria, Jaqline, Justin, Stephan, Robbie, Jacob and David. He was proud of each and every one.
When you drive around Tucson and see a fireplace, masonry building, wall or an arch, it was most likely built by Frank. The harder it was to build the more fun he had. The hotter the sun, the better.
Frank was a parishioner, sacristan, and Eucharistic minister at Sacred Heart Parish for many years.
Thank you to the medical personnel who helped make his last days more comfortable.
Rest in peace, Tata. We love you.
"This is where the cowboy rides away."
