Obituary of Kristen Ellers

Kristen Ellers March 10,1977 – March 15, 2016 Kristen Marie Ellers, formerly of Eagle River, Alaska, died on March 15, 2016, following a courageous 3-year battle with triple negative breast cancer. Kristen graduated from Chugiak High in 1995. She received her BS Degree from Linfield College in sports medicine and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University. Kristen was a Physical Therapy in the Tucson area for the past 13 years. Kristen travelled through her cancer journey with strength, dignity and grace. She was very caring of others and an inspiration to many. She refused to let the disease take her spirit and faith. Kristen is survived by: Sherry and Erika, mother and sister of Eagle River, AK; Robert and Janece, father and his wife of Marana, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Kristen. Memorial Service: Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Resurrection Lutheran Church, Oro Valley, Arizona
