Obituary of William Penny

Willam Nash Penny (Bill), passed away August 3, 2016 at Banner UMC in Tucson Arizona due to heart complications. Bill was born on April 27, 1946 in Durham, North Carolina. He was 70 years of age. Bill is survived by the love of his life Susan, three children James, Joshua and Jessica Aguilar (Alex). He is also survived by his sweet pea, Olivia (granddaughter). He also left behind 16 rescued dogs along with two cats: Lola, Nacho, Romeo, Pablo, Sherman Tank, Tinkerbell, Annabelle, Toby, Peaches, Oscar, Andy, AJ, Hanna, Sam, Joe Dirt, Bubba, Wednesday, Tiger, and of course his favorite cat Calle. Bill and Susan met in Hawaii in 1978 where they later married. By 1986, Bill retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant. After his military career he traveled the world as a flight engineer for several commercial freight carriers, and at one point, fought forest fires in France for an entire Summer. Bill was a caring person, who always put the needs of others before his own. He was always there to share his knowledge and experience of the world with his family and friends whether they wanted to hear it or not. His caring nature, indescribable humor, and never ending love for his family and pets will truly be missed.
