Obituary of Manuel Gamez

Our much loved Manuel Francisco Jesus (Piri) Gamez, 45, left us way too soon on September 11, 2016. Manny was reunited with his Dad Mike Gamez, Nana Tona, Tata Beto, Nana Tina and Niece Mila Villegas and our two little Angels. He graduated from Pueblo High School, he obtained his bachelors of industrial engineering at the University of Arizona and he obtained his MBA at the University of Phoenix. He was a “Manigeer” (Manager and Engineer) at Raytheon. Manny was known for his words of wisdom, sense of humor and being a mentor. He is survived by his devoted wife Monica Gamez, daughter Adriana Gamez, son Gabriel Gamez, proud mother Cruz Gamez Turner (Rok,) Father figure Manny “Santos” Padilla, brother Mike Gamez (Marie,) brother Raul Villegas (Cecilia,) brother Jose Monreal (Maria,) Father and Mother-in-law Ernest and Rachel Chacon, sister-in-laws Yvonne Chacon (Al), Vivienne Anderson, Loretta Watson (Mike) and Jennifer Chacon, brother-in-law Ernie Chacon (Pat,) nephews Michael Gamez (Marisia), Jose Gamez, Sergio Gamez, Daniel Dicochea, nieces Danielle Clark (Ty,) Amanda Gamez and “Pal” Villegas, great nephews Miguelito Gamez, Diego Gamez and great niece Callie Clark. In addition his Tata Lolo, many Tias, Tios, cousins and 5 God-Daughters. Viewing begins at 5:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, with the Rosary being at 7:00 PM.
