Obituary of Victoria Payton

Victoria Lee Payton (Pellettera) lost her battle with cancer in her home on October 8, 2016, in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 61. Victoria is survived by her husband, Kenton Payton; children, Kimberly Norris and Kerrie Hankinson; son-in-laws, Keith Norris and William Hankinson; grandchildren, Jerriko, Rebekkah, Joshua and James Norris, Josaphyeen and Wyatt Hankinson; siblings, Deborah, James, Virginia, Kenneth, and Anthony. She is preceded in death by her parents Salvatore and Palma Pellettera. Victoria was born on January 3, 1955, in Southern California to Salvatore and Palma. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1974. She married Kenton Payton on June 1, 1974, and started her family. Victoria was an accomplished homemaker, baker, mother, and wife. She cared for and raised many children over the years in her home daycare, Vickie's Little Sweeties. She was active in her favorite groups: TOPS, swim club and Bunko. Her greatest accomplishments were taking care of her husband and raising her girls. A memorial is scheduled for October 17, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Angel Valley Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to join Kenton and the girls after the memorial at Payton Place. Louann Sibley will officiate the ceremony followed by friends and family. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Victoria's life. The family would like to thank Arizona Oncology, Dr. Candace Lewis, Dr. Curtis Mack, Dr. Elizabeth Wack and Casa De La Luz Hospice for their attentive and dedicated care. The family would also like to say thank you to everyone for all the continued love and support, thoughts and prayers.
