Obituary of Kay Wilcox-LaRochelle

Lynn Wilcox-LaRochelle Kay Lynn Wilcox-LaRochelle, 71, of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Monday, September 3, 2018 at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ. Lynn was born September 23, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to Rege and Maclyn Litton. She graduated from Arizona State University in 1968 with a degree in Elementary Education, and worked at Kiva Elementary School in Scottsdale. Lynn later became a skin care consultant/District Director for Jafra Cosmetics where she won numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 1981 Lynn moved to Tucson with her husband Allison Wilcox. Lynn was an avid dancer, who took lessons and participated in various dance competitions in Tucson and Phoenix. Dancing was her passion, and she always found time to enjoy it. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and visiting her grandchildren often on the East coast. She is preceded in death by her parents Rege and Wilhelmina Litton and Maclyn and Gus Kesselring. Mrs. LaRochelle is survived by her husband Thomas LaRochelle, her children Kiley & Suzanne Wilcox Sonaita,AZ, Tiffany & Michael Subhan Titusville, NJ, Maclyn Wilcox, Chelsie & Deirdre LaRochelle, Amanda LaRochelle and Dylan & Arely LaRochelle Tucson, AZ. Her grandchildren Peyton & Colin Subhan, and Nola LaRochelle. Her brother and sister in law Scott and Mari Kesselring, sister Kim Kesselring, and many more nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Saguaro Canyon Evangelical Free Church, 10111 E. Old Spanish Trail, Tucson, AZ. Following the service a reception will be held at Rancho Valle Milagro, 900 N. Circle D Way, Tucson AZ.
