Obituary of Virgil Lara

Virgil H. Lara, 77, went to be with his Lord on December 12, 2018. He was a resident of Tucson, AZ formerly from his beloved home of Hobart, IN. In 1960 he married the love of his life Hilda Montes. They had two children with whom they shared a life full of adventure. Virgil lived his life in a way that was never dull. His quick wit, sense of humor, and sharp tongue will not be forgotten. Virgil is survived by Hilda his wife of 58 years, his children Peter “Dino” (John) Cooper-Lara, Kathleen (Steve) Meinschock, grandchildren Aaron Damrow, Julia Damrow, step-grandchildren Vanessa (Cory) Nickel, Lindsey (Justin) Gehm, brothers Don (Cynthia) Lara, Mike Lara, a close family of cousins, and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life on January 26, 2019 at 10:30 am at Angel Valley Funeral Home 2545 N. Tucson Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85716.
