Lydia. I knew you for only a short time, but you were a big influence in my early years. You were thought of often and I could hear your voice helping with decisions. Thank you for allowing me into your life.
Family in Christ and a Friend from long ago.
My heart and prayers go out to your family. They are special people.

Dearest Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Lydia's passing. My mother (Grace) called me to tell me of the news. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately, because of moving away in 1993 (due to my husband's job) I was only able to see her by chance a couple of years ago when we came to town. She was the same, warm, loving woman I remember as a little girl. I find comfort in knowing she is with Our Lord, whom she truly loved and has joined Aunt Pat and the rest of our beloved family.
Respectfully,
Geraldine (Dini) and Family

My heart goes out to you all in this sad time. Lydia was a strong and beautiful woman. There are many memories I can look upon and remember her strength. I also remember she would take the time out to teach me how to cook or just simple things about life. She was very giving, especially when it came to her children.
My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you all.

I miss you mama, my friend and the worldest greatest mother. I miss talking with you. Who am I going to get advice from and help when I have questions about making certain foods? I love you. I wasn't finished with you yet, you left me to soon. You will always be in my heart, there will always be my memories that I will be able to fall back on. Save a place for me, I will be there one day soon. I thank Our Lord Jesus that you did not suffer and that you are in heaven with him. I miss and love you very much. My grandma was a remarkable lady, with many talents and extraordinary gifes. She is my hero and will always be my hero. Her heart was huge and she always taught me new things everyday. She is always on my mind every second of each day. Her beautiful smile that warmed your heart, and her shining eyes that lit up every room she stepped foot in. Her love was strong and so was she; Her laugh was graceful and her words were of wisdom. My grandma is an incredible woman. She was the one I could relate too, she knew the answer to every question I had to ask. She never gave up on me when I did. She knew how to make me laugh when I was down, and I could always count on her to make me stronger. Her words are glued to my mind and will stick until I reunit with her in Heaven. Every time I remember her I see her dancing in the kitchen to her favorite song, laughing and smiling unconditionaly, or when she would clap her hands when the rooster crowed, or when she would sit at the table and tell of her stories she had when she was younger, oh, how I miss her stories. She made my day the best day, everyday. I will see her soon in heaven dancing and laughing I know that, but until then I have her memories that will live on. I miss my grandma. I love you very much grandma! I can't wait to see you again.

I miss my grandma, but I know that one day I will be greeted by her at the gates of Heaven.
She always knew how to make you laugh and smile, even if she didn't mean to, you would always find yourself smiling around her. She was the kind of person that once she walked into the room, the atmosphere got brighter. She was always there for me when I needed her. Always!!
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I smile when I remember things she would say, or imagine what she would say. I may get tears in my eyes but there will still be that smile on my face.
She will live on through us, and she will not be forgotten!!
I Love and Miss You!
