Obituary of Mercedes Lopez

Mercedes Carreon Lopez, 86 Was born in Columbus, New Mexico and was a longtime resident of Tucson, Arizona. Mercedes entered into heaven on October 9, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Lopez. They were married 63 years. She is survived by her 5 children; Edward (Angela) Lopez, Jr, Linda (David) Kay, Donald H. Lopez, Michael A. Lopez, and Raymond F. Lopez, all of Tucson, AZ; 7 Grandchildren,and 5 Great-Grandchildren. With deep sadness we release her into the loving arms of family who have passed before her. There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Odilia Catholic Church,7570 N. Paseo del Norte (Ina & Paseo del Norte). In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in her name to St. Odilia Catholic Church. The family would like to thank Casa De La Luz Inpatient Unit for their wonderful support and care of our mother.
