Bernice Arnone

Obituary of Bernice Arnone

BERNICE G. ARNONE, Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, continued on with her journey to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 24th, 2010, she was 79 years young and is missed by many! Survived by her faithful and loving husband, Simon, of 56 years of Marriage; children, John, Anita, and Kelly; grandchildren, Stephanie, Tiffany, Timothy, Joshua, Gina, Diana, and Mildred; sister, Bernadette, and predeceased in journey by beloved sister, Loretta Mae, and beloved son-in-law, Christopher. She was born Feb. 10, 1931 in Highland Park, Michigan. Married proudly to Korean War Veteran, Simone Arnone in 1954, their glamorous Wedding was the talk of the town for many months. Bernice was a warm, friendly, charismatic lady who genuinely enjoyed people, and making them laugh. She had a natural way about her that made you feel at ease and welcome in her home. She was known to ‘adopt in heart’ many of her own children’s friends as if she were their mother. She was not only artistic, but graceful in her style and demeanor, and gentle in her heart. She had an inner strength of beauty that shined through. A strong woman who took the time for a friend in need or the teenager friends of her own children in time of turmoil. A woman of social intelligence, she was kind, loving, generous, and very compassionate with many family and friends who will always love her. Bernice was fun-loving to be around, feisty, and determined with a great sense of humor and sharp wit that would leave you in stitches! A rare beauty with a kind soul that was felt by the people who were fortunate to know her. A true friend whom was loved deeply and will be sorely missed. The world is at a great loss without Bernice, and we as her family, and friends, will all miss her presence in our lives, her smile, her laughter. It is a true joy to know that she is with our Lord and Savior, and her spirit will forever remain in all of our hearts. Mum, you are loved deeply by Dad, and each of your children, thank you for being our Mother. You will never be forgotten. Kisses & Hugs! Written by Anita Duran, Bernice's Eldest Daughter
