Obituary of Marjorie Holiman

Marj died surrounded by loving family and friends. She was always a devoted partner, faithful family member and loyal friend. As an inspiring teacher at Cochise Community College and later, at the University of Arizona, and as a Gestalt trainer and Ph.D. psychologist in private practice for over 25 years, she planted many seeds and left her healing touch on many hearts. She loved to write and garden, relished a good adventure, and much enjoyed laughter. She is leaving behind her loving life partner of twenty-five years, Ginger Marcus, daughter, Kathleen Holiman (Doug Bruns), son, Christopher (Connie), sister, Nancy Lee (Fred), Ginger’s family and Mom, Freda, daughter of her heart Desiree Bathurst, her grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Marj was dearly loved and respected and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Community Food Bank or a charity of your own choosing. A private celebration of her life will be held in May.
